Light and Love Loft (L3) is CHC’s indoor wellness center located at King Plow Art Center. Children experience our curriculum through specific therapeutic experiences that address the whole child. In addition to art, music and play therapy, L3 serves as a work center for children to donate their time and resources and to assemble the kits, packages and donations we’ve become known for at CHC. Children are encouraged to build on their own passion and interests in the community and lead in their design and delivery of their personal philanthropic endeavors.
Thanks to generous supporters and donations, CHC was able to purchase a 1974 Airstream RV. “Cloud9”, the mobile version of the Loft, will travel spreading compassion and service in meaningful, tangible ways and will shed light in more areas throughout the City.

INVITE THE LIGHT
CHC partners with local schools and community-based organizations and non-profits in Atlanta who work with children and helps to develop child-led programs that bring their ideas and talents (light) into philanthropic successes.
INVITE THE LIGHT EXAMPLE:
As pen pals, third-graders at Westminster School and Scott Elementary in Atlanta developed a program to give youngsters at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta art therapy supplies. “When the students met, they came up with the specifics of the project, what children they wanted to help and took the steps to make them happen. They had so much fun the first year being able to give back that the next year they made cancer bracelets for the children at Camp Sunshine, a special camp for children with cancer.
